How does this affect young poeple?

I'm sorry if this seems ignorant of me but I was not aware that "faith" had been sent to a private sphere. It always seemed that faith was part of a large number of goings on.
The only way I can think of faith having a part would be in its part in terms of charities and organisations set up in their name and what objectives those organisations would have.
