Everyone on generation

Hi All

A volunteered tagged me in this note.

Clearly, a passionate individual, and I'm very concerned. This is one young person.......

Every single young person is affected.

It appears we have a lost, and forgotton generation.

    Hi Linsey

    Sorry for late reply.

Youth meetup called "twenty5"

A space to meet others, have fun, get information, talk to youth workers and be encouraged and assisted to work together and take ownership of new work.

twenty5 is primarily for young people aged 13-19 from the city and across the district.

We don't need a place to talk or be encouraged but need to be heard by the government and be listened to for once!

I agree their is a need to be heard Luke but I reckon places for young people to go and meet others and work on projects together are pretty invaluable.

A massive defecit in money and unemployment, coupled with an increase in tuition fees makes me worry that young people from more deprived backgrounds simply won't have access to the same opportunities as many of their peers. Unemployment rates amongst young people have increased dramatically in the last few years and I fear that this could have wider social implications. As someone who graduated... Read more

'We are criticised for hanging out on street corners, portrayed as anti-social, trouble-makers by the media. Yet the very centres that give us a place to go, keep us safe and provide us with the guidance we need to make the right choices, are being wiped out.'

Over 2,000 young people have signed a letter to David Cameron asking for more consideration to the cuts that will affect their generation... Read more
