Teamv – recruitment now open
We’re on the lookout for sparky, energetic 18 – 25 year olds to join Teamv – a new network powered by young people who are socially aware and want to change things for the better.

Teamv leader will recruit and lead a team of highly motivated volunteers to tackle three key social issues, using their creative brilliance and natural leadership skills to make real change happen in communities across England.

Tackling key themes such as protecting the planet, promoting healthy living and regenerating community spaces, Teamv will take responsibility to lead and champion national projects in their area – running in November 2011 and then February and May 2012.

Our Teamv leaders will be invited to attend a series of training camps to equip them with the skills to co-ordinate local projects, support volunteers and manage a budget. They’ll also receive toolkits and promotional resources to help you turn your project into action.

As well as a great training package, there is also the chance to apply for a Teamv scholarship worth up to £1000 on completion of the programme, to help Teamv leaders plan your future.

Who can apply?
You can apply if you are:

• Aged 18 – 25
• Living in England
• Sparky, creative, energetic and ready for a leadership challenge
• Able to volunteer part-time from November 2011 – June 2012 (around 20 hours a month)
